Privacy Policy

MyEverFind ("we") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it, both on our search pages and if you join our email list.

What we collect

Using MyEverFind to search does not require an account, and we do not ask you for your name, payment details, or any other personal information to search the site. We do collect:

• Search activity. What you search for, the results shown, and which of those results you click through to a marketplace. We use this in aggregate, to understand what people are looking for and to see when something is not working, not to build a profile tied to you personally.
• Basic technical details that come with your request. Such as your browser type and the page that referred you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard request information, including your IP address, in order to deliver the site securely.
• Your email address, only if you give it to us. The one you type into a "notify me" or waitlist form, such as the one on our homepage for new categories.

Why we collect it

We use search activity to run the site, keep it fast, and improve it, and to understand which marketplace links people click, which also helps us see where our affiliate relationships (see below) are working. We use an email address for one purpose: to let you know about the thing you signed up for, such as a new category launching. We are not going to send you unrelated marketing, and we will not flood your inbox.

Who we share it with

Cookies and tracking

MyEverFind does not run third-party advertising or analytics cookies on our own pages, and we do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you. When you click an outbound link to a marketplace such as Reverb or eBay, some of those links are affiliate links (see our Terms of Service for what that means). Clicking one may cause that marketplace, or the affiliate network that tracks the referral, to set a cookie on their own site so they can credit the referral, the same way it would if you had typed their address in directly after seeing an ad. That cookie is set and controlled by them, under their own privacy policy, not by MyEverFind.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. At any time you can ask us to:

• See what information we hold about you.
• Delete your email address from our list.
• Correct an email address you entered by mistake.

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California, you may have additional legal rights over your data. We honor these requests regardless of where you are. To make any request, just email us at [email protected] and we will take care of it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until the thing you signed up for is no longer relevant. Search activity is kept in aggregate form for as long as it is useful for running and improving the site, and is not tied back to you individually.

Age requirement

MyEverFind is intended for adults. As explained in our Terms of Service, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

As MyEverFind grows and adds features, categories, and affiliate relationships, this policy will be updated to reflect what we collect and why. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
